National Healthcare Recruiter Recognition Day

Given the challenges over the last few years due to the pandemic, many healthcare workers are experiencing burnout and leaving the industry altogether, putting more pressure on healthcare organizations and their employees. And while retention efforts in healthcare have always been an ongoing heavy lift, the increase in turnover along with a significant increase in need of our healthcare professionals has never been a starker reality. It takes individuals who are truly dedicated to their work, and who truly know the impact they have on building their organization’s healthcare teams in order to better serve those in need of medical help. And while every day is appropriate to express gratitude to our healthcare recruiters, today is apropos, as this is the 31st year, on the first Tuesday in June, each year, that Congress has recognized “National Healthcare Recruiter Day.”
