Amanda leads Shaker’s creative organization and partners with global brands to put people at the center of their employer brands, helping them tell more authentic stories about their work and the people behind it. As a third-generation leader at Shaker, she brings over two decades of strategic communications experience. That includes time at global agencies Edelman and Weber Shandwick and in-house roles at Beam Suntory and Alberto Culver (now part of Unilever).

Beyond Shaker, Amanda is a passionate advocate for pediatric cancer. After losing her son, Owen, to DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) in 2020, she and her husband, Adam, became Family Partners of the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation, which funds research toward better treatments and, one day, a cure for this rare childhood brain tumor. Through RunTough for Team Owen, she rallies her community each year to raise money and awareness in Owen’s name.
