The event is all day on Tuesday, July 21st, and into the evening. We will have a mandatory working day in the office on Wednesday, July 22nd.

On Tuesday, July 21st, all employees will meet at The Hub for a day of activities and meetings. From The Hub, we head to Riverside Golf Club for a cocktail party. On Wednesday, July 22nd, we will remain at The Hub.

We are celebrating Shaker's 75th anniversary this year! We invite all of our employees to come together in celebration of our past, present, and future.

The event starts the morning of Tuesday, July 21st. We encourage you to travel on Monday, July 20th, to allow time to settle in before the big day.

The official 75th events are occurring all day/evening on Tuesday, July 21st. Teams are expected to work in the office on Wednesday, July 22nd. Remote employees can depart on Thursday, July 23rd.

We will be booking all travel – fill out the travel request form if you haven’t already.

Yes, this can be accommodated within reason. If you need to travel elsewhere after the event, please note this in your travel request form.

We will be booking rooms for remote employees to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago West - Oak Park by IHG or at the Carleton of Oak Park Hotel.

Yes, all Shaker employees will receive an Uber voucher to use to get to and from Riverside Golf Club. Employees are expected to use personal methods of transportation to and from the office each day, per usual. Remote employees can expense Ubers/Taxis to get to and from the airport and The Hub.

We want you to dress your best! We will be in The Hub all day, then will head straight to Riverside Golf Club for a cocktail party and dinner. We will have lots of photos taken, so we encourage business casual/professional. It is not a black tie event.

Outside of what you typically bring to work (laptop, chargers, etc.), nothing is needed.

Yes, we will be providing breakfast and lunch at The Hub both days. There will be heavy passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks at Riverside. If you have dietary restrictions, please let the Marketing team know.

Yes, Shaker Recruitment Marketing will fund or reimburse expenses that are directly connected to company business or incurred as part of your job duties. If you’re unsure whether an expense is covered, you should seek approval from your manager before incurring the expense. All expenses must be reasonable, not lavish or extravagant. Employees are accountable for compliance with the Travel and Expense (T&E) policy in the employee handbook.

We encourage you to block off your calendar for the whole day and let clients know that you will be available via email. We will have dedicated time throughout the day to collaborate with your teams.

No, all of the conference rooms will be used to accommodate seating for remote employees.

Every employee will be assigned a seat in The Hub. No need to book a desk on OfficeRnD.

Teams are expected to be at The Hub all day on Tuesday, July 21st, and Wednesday, July 22nd. Teams should plan for offsite activities after work on Wednesday.
