Recruitment Ad Agency (RAA) Association to Relaunch

Press Release – 05/06/2019

Commitment from Leading Agencies Worldwide

CHICAGO, Ill., April 30, 2019 – The Recruitment Ad Agency (RAA) Association is set to relaunch, reviving the original effort from 2002. At its inception, the RAA’s mission was, in part, to provide a forum for the exchange of information among member agencies and communicate the value, benefits, and scope of recruitment advertising to human resources and recruitment professionals; media; other organizations impacting the recruiting industry; and the public.

Today, the need for such an association is greater than ever as recruitment advertising continues to evolve and grow more complex. Amidst industry trends, changes, and developments, employers worldwide look to recruitment advertising agencies as guides in navigating this space. The RAA Association’s goal is to be “at the ready” to respond to any potential disruptive changes in recruitment advertising practices, in order to work toward mutually beneficial solutions among all parties and provide best-in-class service to clients.

Of the relaunch, Board President Ryan Christoi shared, “I’m excited for what this new iteration of the RAA Association has in store. This is a great opportunity for leaders in recruitment advertising to discuss common business concerns and opportunities, as well as collaborate on how to inform both employers and media partners of the importance and value of this work.”

A growing list of leading recruitment advertising agencies have expressed interest in joining the following founding members: Ad Strategies, Bayard Advertising, Buyer Advertising, CKR Interactive, HireClix, JobElephant, KRT Marketing, Miller Advertising Agency, NAS Recruitment Innovation, Proactive Talent, Recruitics, Shaker Recruitment Marketing, Symphony Talent, The HireKey, and TMP Worldwide.

In total, these agencies partner with well over 5,000 corporations across a variety of industries to aid in their recruitment marketing efforts. It’s estimated that the RAA member agencies service the majority of the Fortune 500.

At the helm of the relaunch is the RAA Association Board: Ryan Christoi (KRT Marketing); Joe Shaker Jr. (Shaker Recruitment Marketing); Jennifer Henley (NAS Recruitment Innovation); Louis Naviasky (Bayard Advertising); Chris Stynes (TMP Worldwide); Josh Gampel (Recruitics); and Roopesh Nair (Symphony Talent).

Board Vice President Joe Shaker Jr., commented, “The original founder, my father, Joseph G. Shaker started the RAA Association with the spirit of ‘Let’s leave all our guns at the door.’ In that sentiment, we hope to establish a community where we can share industry knowledge, promote the highest ethical standards among all RAA members, and collaborate for the benefit of our clients and their unique talent needs.”

The RAA Association will kick things off with a first meeting on May 14, 2019, in Austin, TX.
