  • Oversee the daily operations of finance activities , including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain and reconfigure monthly operating systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records and reports.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and/or statements.
  • Manage the general ledger accounts, including account reconciliation and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Prepare yearly budgets and projections
  • Implement and achieve operational objectives such as developing action plans, audit operations and overall process improvement.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to accounting staff.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience with managing general ledger accounts and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Sage 50 and AppFolio.
