The Client Consultant is the frontline of the organization with responsibility for daily client engagement, development and overall satisfaction. They operate as part of an enterprise/large client team and as a main point of contact for small and mid-sized businesses, interacting primarily with Recruiters, Managers and Director Level client contacts.

  • Day to day management of existing clients•
  • Proactively Interact with clients; some travel required
  • Ability to listen well and communicate articulately in a professional manner written, telephone and in-person
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the client organization
  • Retain and nurture relationships with assigned clients, internal departments and partners
  • Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to assigned clients–discovering new opportunities to work together
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all client dynamics, including business objectives, TA needs and projections, challenges, budgets, etc
  • Serve as client’s internal Shaker advocate, interacting with Shaker departments to coordinate all deliverables seamlessly
  • Juggle multiple deadlines, clients and project priorities simultaneously
  • Orchestrate long-term plans to meet assigned client objectives
  • Prepare proposals and media recommendations, ensuring all goals and objectives are being considered and incorporated
  • Ensure client approvals are received prior to deadline
  • Consult on and close customer contracts (Media or other)
  • Responsible for consistent growth and client billings at all levels
  • The Client Consultant can identify opportunities, scope and provide a solid overview of Shaker offerings but may require some support in the presentation/delivery of strategies and closing deals. They must possess a foundational understanding of the principals and components of each service.

•BA and 5+ years of progressive client management experience

•Confident negotiation and problem-solving

•Excellent presentation and ability to interact with clients at all levels

•Passion for helping others and solution selling –listen, learn, deliver

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills in person, by phone or via email

•Intuitive questioning –ability to proactively dig into issues to offer the best solution set

•Intuitive learning –able to relate new learning to client needs

•Detail oriented, highly organized and exceptional follow-through

•Knowledge of current talent industry marketing and advertising trends and best practices

•Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Office, Excel, Filemaker, LinkedIn

•Work well under pressure and stress

•Research and Campaign planning

•Experience in client relationship management

•Background in advertising, marketing, HR/Talent Acquisition

•Previous agency experience preferred;recruitment related a strong plus

•Maintain visibility on all relevant social media channels on behalf of the agency by promoting, sharing, liking and contributing to industry and agency related topics

Demonstrable business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
