Our Senior Client Consultants are responsible for mid- to large-sized enterprise account engagement, development, and overall satisfaction. In this role, you will operate on the front lines of our organization and be the person clients trust to help them achieve optimal results. Our fast-paced setting requires constant learning, and you’ll collaborate with media partners and other vendors to stay current with new offerings and trends. Best of all? Responsibilities

  • Identify and scope full-spectrum strategy solutions for and close sales of Shaker offerings in such categories as employer branding/EVP, campaign development, creative support, programmatic, SEM/PPC/sponsored content, social media, creative services, interactive services, and tech solutions.
  • Join the New Business Development team in making final presentations to new prospects.
  • Maintain a high-level view of all projects within assigned client base, interacting and meeting with relevant client consultants and key department personnel to ensure that objectives and timelines are met.
  • Proactively interact with clients via phone and electronic media (and potentially in person within a year or two).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the client organization, as well as internal departments and partners.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of all client dynamics, including business objectives, TA needs and projections, challenges, and budgets.
  • Take responsibility for driving consistent growth and client billings at all levels.
  • Act as the client’s internal advocate, strategic partner and trusted advisor at Shaker, interacting with all departments to coordinate all deliverables seamlessly and discovering new ways to collaborate.
  • Actively support the team in preparing proposals and media recommendations, ensuring that all long- and short-term objectives are considered/incorporated.
  • Orchestrate long-term plans to meet assigned client objectives.
  • Consult on and close customer contracts for media, consultative, and creative services.

Requirements

  • BA and 10+ years of progressively responsible client-management experience, preferably in the talent-acquisition industry
  • Ability to coach and develop talent
  • Ability to sell services independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes
  • Background in advertising, marketing, HR/talent acquisition
  • Agency experience preferred; recruitment-related a strong plus
  • Excellent presentation/communication/client-interaction skills, especially via phone/online
  • Intuitive questioning and learning skills: Ability to relate to client issues and offer the best solutions
  • Confidence in personal negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of current talent-industry marketing and advertising trends/best practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency in FileMaker, MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Teams), Excel, Tableau, TalentNeuron, and LinkedIn
