Marketing Research Associate, Employer Branding

As the Marketing Research Associate, you will fuel employer brand strategy and development by gathering and distilling the data, research and key assets required to create best-in-class messaging for a wide array of clients and industries.

Working directly with the Director of Brand Strategy, you will influence the direction and foundation of new employer brand development, and serve as the backbone of all subsequent creative and marketing efforts. You’ll have the chance to apply a wide variety of skills, abilities, and knowledge as you:


  • Evaluate and distill sometimes-large volumes of disparate data files
  • Segment insights by demographic profiles
  • Conduct competitive intelligence
  • Create and distill results of organizational surveys
  • Conduct focus groups in person and via conference lines
  • Conduct and distill focus group and interview transcripts
  • Synthesize and top-level key data themes
  • Craft creative briefs
  • Build presentation decks
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Three or more years of successful marketing research experience
  • A four-year college degree with an emphasis on marketing or related work experience
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • The poise and polish to represent the agency in a professional manner in all client interactions, including focus groups and conference calls
  • Willingness to learn
  • Adaptability to handle evolving priorities
  • Critical-reasoning skills and a strategic mindset
  • Ability to thrive under tight project tolerances
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel)
