Account Manager – Oak Park, IL

And handle them all with exceptional care, grace and confidence. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of our organization and take responsibility for daily client engagement, development and satisfaction. Serving as part of an enterprise/large client team and as a main point of contact for small and mid-sized businesses, you will interact primarily with recruiters, managers and director-level client contacts. 

Responsibilities

  • Interact with and manage existing clients daily, acting as an advocate, strategic partner and advisor to discover new opportunities to collaborate and orchestrate long-term plans to meet objectives.
  • Confidently present/discuss Shaker offerings, including but not limited to programmatic, SEM/PPC/sponsored content, social media, creative services, interactive services, career sites/websites, landing pages and digital assets.
  • Scope and close projects and campaigns, assisting in large, full-spectrum strategy recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate deliverables promptly and seamlessly.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of client dynamics, including business objectives, TA needs and projections, challenges and budgets.
  • Prepare proposals and media recommendations.
  • Submit forms, create orders and manage through to final billing.
  • Consult on and close customer contracts for media and other offerings.
  • Take responsibility for consistent growth and client billings at all levels.
  • Engage with media/vendors to understand products suited for specific client objectives.

Requirements

  • BA and 5+ years of progressively responsible client-management experience
  • Background in advertising, marketing, HR/talent acquisition, including client-relationship management, research and campaign planning
  • Agency experience preferred; recruitment-related background a strong plus
  • Knowledge of current talent industry marketing and advertising trends/best practices
  • Proficiency with Filemaker, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT and Teams), Excel, Tableau, TalentNeuron, PowerPoint, MS Office, Excel, Filemaker and social media
  • Knowledge and expertise/awareness of technology solutions (ATS, CRM and sourcing)
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, communication, listening, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Exceptional detail orientation, organization and follow-through
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
