Shaker’s development team provides a wide range of development expertise – from front-end coding to back-end building, third-party platform integrations, third-party customization (where possible), and full stack custom development, as well as custom app builds. Our team codes based on the designs. We will always be honest on partner capabilities and limitations and will recommend the best digital solution based on our clients’ needs, priorities, tech requirements and analysis needs. Our custom apps include solutions, like Extranets, that help centralize organizations, driving them to one trusted source for information, like the latest materials, guidelines, media requests and social media submissions. It’s the connective tissue that keeps global offices, franchises, business units, etc. in sync.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage team of front- and back-end developers as they build and support our client websites
  • Point person for website new business – from pitching to proposal development – advising on solutions based on client objectives, budget, existing tech stack, etc.
  • Be a strong partner with our third-party SaaS providers, ensuring a deep understanding of Shaker’s business needs, the capabilities (both UX and technical) of the partner platform and necessary technical requirements
  • Train the design and development teams on industry and partner best practices in terms of specs, limitations, requirements, innovations, etc.
  • Present effectively to partners, clients, new business leads, team members, account team members and the leadership team
  • Ensure strong visibility to all projects in the queue and pipeline and be especially dialed into high profile accounts and partner projects
  • Collaborate with client services, project management and creative teams on accelerated timeline needs or project challenges
  • Research emerging tools, trends, and methodologies; maintain knowledge of industry and monitor competitive digital platforms
  • Serve as expert on Shaker’s web services, third-party platforms and services, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) variants, the recruitment business and the candidate experience
  • Troubleshoot, as needed, when challenges arise and support root cause analysis and necessary internal protocols

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience with 3+ years of experience managing a team and presenting new business
  • Stellar presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline oriented
  • Experience successfully managing a team
  • Strong experience with APIs, PHP, MySQL, (Plesk a plus), WordPress, Laravel, (Drupal a plus)
  • Familiarity with SSO, Authentication, GitHub, Databases
  • Proven collaborator and communicator with technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to provide training and knowledge transfer to clients
  • Identify future project risks or opportunities for growth
  • Experience with analytics tools, i.e. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau is preferred
