Accounting Analyst

Shaker Recruitment Marketing is looking for an Accounting Analyst to support payroll, accounts payable, and general accounting functions. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing a range of assigned financial duties including reconciliations, sales compensation processing, process improvement and analyzing financial data.


  • Review/maintain parameters that drive commission calculations.
  • Perform commission structure analysis.
  • Generate monthly commission reports and statements.
  • Conduct monthly audit of orders for gross profit variances.
  • Identify, track and incorporate adjustments into reports and statements.
  • Review Accounts Payable (AP) balances for accuracy.
  • Perform ad-hoc reconciliations and analysis as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
  • 3+ years of finance/accounting experience
  • Experience using an ERP accounting system
  • Understanding of accounting rules and principles (GAAP knowledge)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel skills
  • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and respond to shifting priorities
