Ellen Paige joined Shaker in 1989 after several years in graphic design and creative production with a national automotive publisher. She earned her degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and studied at the prestigious International Academy for Creative Arts in Venice, Italy. She possesses a rare capacity to identify and steer compelling creative while delving into deep strategy – whether the evaluation of recruitment processes and systems or media identification and talent targeting. This unique blend of skills quickly won her several of the agency’s most prestigious accounts and fast-tracked her career from Account Executive up to Sales Manager in 1998 and then to Vice President in 2001.
Ellen takes a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach to her career. In addition to leading and mentoring Account Service teams as Vice President, she directly manages a client portfolio comprised of some of the agency’s most noteworthy accounts, including Siemens Building Technologies, Merck, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ellen is frequently involved in key agency pitches and formally liaises with global agency partners.
From her earliest days at the agency to the present, Ellen’s passion has never changed. She’s simply in it for her clients. And her clients know it.
Ellen speaks fluent Italian and is most at home when she’s travelling to Italy and France to visit extended family. Whenever possible, she’ll take in a museum; and while you can take the girl out of Italy, you can’t take the cooking out of the girl.
